Travel with the ship of the desert! Ride the Bactrian camels of our Zoo! A special experience in the camel saddle is waiting for you near the Reptile Nursery from April to September.

Price of the camel ride: 1500 HUF/person.

Take a ride through our world with the electric bus of Sóstó Zoo! The cozy bus ride provides children, elders and tired zoo visitors with the opportunity to enjoy a pleasant relaxation in the 30 hectares oak forest of the park. The bus is able to accomodate 16 persons and departs every 20 minutes from the entrance of the Green Pyramid.

The service will be discontinued from 1st of October 2019 to mid of March.

Seals and sealions  are one of the best animals to be trained within the animal kingdom.If you visit us, do not miss the sealion show at 13.00 and 15.00

Location: The large stage to the left from the entrance of the Zoo

The sealion show is included in the price of the ticket.

The populous animal crowd of the Zoo consumes 2000 kgs of vegetables, 2400 kgs of fruits, 800 kgs of meat, 700 kgs of fish, 1000 kgs of seeds and 3000 liters of water daily. Every Monday and Friday at 9:30 you can have a look at how the Oceanarium’s sharks or the funny lemur kids eat their snack. At the sealion show and the parrot show you can see how the animals work for the treats, and during your zoo walk you can surprise the birds or the populous llama family with the delicacies bought from the automata machines.

The organized feeding shows are included in the price of the ticket. 

You can rent a Baby Taxi for your children, since our small world of 35 hectares can be very large for the little ones.

Who is interested in the cute Ring-tailed lemurs, visit the monkey  forest which can be found at the Tarzan trail. In the monkey forest Ring-tailed lemurs walk around between the visitors. We can meet the lemurs face to face, take pictures with them, but unfortunately we cannot feed or pet them.

Opening times: In the peak season in 2018 (in April only on the weekends, from May until the end of summer is open every day), in September in 2018, if there is a nice weather it’s open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Due to the weather it’s closed from October 2018 until April 2019.
