The 6000 animals in Nyíregyháza Zoo are wildlife ambassadors.
The polar bear cubs of the Sóstó Zoo/ ( Zoo Nyíregyháza) are also symbols of conservation efforts, as those who follow their growth on social media can read a wealth of information not only about the animals, but also about the species and the conservation problems that threaten them.
SóstóZoo considers it important to help polar bears in the wild, in addition to education, and this year donated the annual 3000 euros adoption grant to Polar Bears International, the organisation that researches/educates them and protects their habitat, for individuals who adopt polar bear cubs.
